Pachamama Latin School is a unique independent and immersive language school in which learning experiences such as; cooking, gardening, music, dancing and academic subjects such as; HSIE, PDHPE, Creative arts, Mathematics, Science are taught in Latin Languages (Spanish, Italian and Portuguese). Children are fully immersed in the target languages for the whole school day, both in and outside the class.
The school is situated across two sites in Mullumbimby and Lismore in the Northern Rivers Region. We are highly qualified teachers and educators coming from Latin cultural backgrounds.
Currently, the school is offering two programs- one for school aged children and a kindergarten program for children 3-6 years.
In both venues we welcome children with special needs and relative support workers.
Accompanied toddlers are welcome to our school in the morning for a couple of hours to be immersed in the Latin Culture.
We promote a holistic education based on environmental consciousness, encouraging eco-friendly practices. We believe that care for our environment should be a shared responsibility, and as we are part of a community, we should contribute to the well-being of our surrounding lands and our planet.
We facilitate a fun, flexible and respectful atmosphere for sharing and learning in a small group setting in order to develop and improve lifelong skills.
We believe our participants are able to develop and improve different skills while they are learning languages from Latin cultures in an immersive way.
